Terms of Service

1) Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the ARO Connection website, configurators, design tools, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use our services.

We may update these Terms periodically; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2) Accounts & Security

You may create an account to save designs, place orders, and access order history and invoices. You're responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for suspected misuse or violation of these Terms.

3) Orders, Pricing & Payment

Prices, promotions, and product availability may change without notice.

Taxes, duties, and shipping charges (if any) are shown at checkout.

Orders are deemed accepted only when we send an order confirmation. We may cancel or refuse any order (e.g., due to errors, suspected fraud, or policy violations) and will refund any amounts paid for canceled orders.

4) Custom Artwork, Proofs & Color

Artwork responsibility. You represent you own or have permission to use any text, logos, images, or other content you upload and that your content doesn't infringe others' rights or violate law. You're responsible for checking spelling, placement, and design details.

Proofs. If we provide on-screen proofs, review them carefully. Your approval authorizes us to proceed to production; changes after approval may require additional charges or a new order.

Color expectations. Printed colors are produced in CMYK and may differ from on-screen RGB or specific Pantone® spot colors. Minor color variation is normal and not a defect; exact color matching isn't guaranteed.

5) Production & Lead Times

Published lead times are estimates measured in business days and begin only after payment, file validation, and (if applicable) proof approval. Production may be extended by holidays, high-volume periods, supply constraints, or design changes.

6) Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

We ship using the carrier/method shown at checkout. Title and risk of loss transfer upon our delivery to the carrier. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by carrier delays, customs, weather, or other events beyond our control. We're not liable for consequential losses due to shipment delays.

7) Samples & Minimums

Sample options may be available for certain products (e.g., a one-off sample or material swatches) with their own pricing and lead times. Availability and timelines vary by product.

8) Returns, Reprints & Order Issues

Because products are made-to-order, returns are generally not accepted. If your order arrives damaged or materially defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos and your order number. We'll evaluate and, at our discretion, offer a reprint or remedy. Normal variations (e.g., slight color shift, trimming tolerance) are not defects.

9) User Content & License

By submitting content (artwork, text, images), you grant ARO Connection a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and display that content solely to provide the services (e.g., proofs, manufacturing, mockups). You retain ownership of your content. We may remove content we believe violates these Terms.

10) Intellectual Property

All ARO Connection site content, software, tools, and templates are owned by or licensed to ARO Connection and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute our site or services.

11) Prohibited Uses

You may not use the services for illegal, infringing, deceptive, or harmful activities; to distribute malware; to violate third-party rights; to upload unlawful or offensive content; or to interfere with site operation. We may remove content or suspend service for violations.

12) Account Dashboard: Orders & Invoices

If you hold an account, we provide a dashboard that shows order history, order statuses, shipment tracking (when available), and access to view/download invoices for your records. You consent to receiving electronic invoices and communications related to your orders.

13) Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the site, you consent to those practices, including electronic communications about your orders and account.

14) Disclaimers; Limitation of Liability

Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties (express or implied), and we're not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or lost profits, arising from your use of the services or delays in production/shipping. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; where prohibited, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

15) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless ARO Connection and its affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the services, or your violation of these Terms.

16) Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the services (including canceling orders before production) for suspected fraud, policy violations, rights infringement, or site misuse. You may stop using the services at any time. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g., payment obligations, IP, disclaimers, limits of liability) will survive termination.

17) Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Oakland County, Michigan, unless applicable law requires a different forum. If you prefer arbitration or a class-action waiver, insert the agreed language here.

18) Changes to the Services

We may modify or discontinue features, products, or pricing at any time. If we materially change these Terms, we'll update the "Effective Date" above and, where required, provide additional notice. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
